Aplicaciones 
  
Se utiliza como sobrecarga desnudo conductor para la distribución primaria y secundaria. 
Diseñado utilizando una aleación de aluminio de alta resistencia para lograr una alta resistencia-peso ratio; ofrece mejores características de la SAG.
La aleación de aluminio da AAAC mayor resistencia a la corrosión de ACSR.
